SOME KNOCKER HISTORY
 | Headknocker racing was started back in
1988. We started out with a very heavy 69 Chevelle and when the opportunity
came along we traded it for a much lighter 63 Nova SS. The Nova was basically
a tubbed out street car. First we gave her a big block
402 and then we named her Head Knocker after the song by
Foreigner. Over the years see had many diets and face
lifts. We went from 1/8 mile 7.70s in Mod class to 4.80s in Quick 16.This car is a lot of fun to drive.
She We then put a 515 with a 3 speed automatic and Ford rear
end. She leaves the line hard and pulls the front end for
about 30 feet. With 175 horse of juice at your finger tip
you never want to shut her down. Now with a blown 632 on alcohol
it's become a hand full. |
